Everything in one clean sweep

Nine tools that look after your Mac's space, speed and security, all working from the same scan.

Smart Scan

One scan across junk, apps, duplicates and folders, with each section ready to open as soon as it finishes.

Space Map

See what fills your disk as a map of folders, and drill into the biggest ones in a couple of clicks.

Junk

Caches, logs, leftover installers and the Trash. Items that rebuild themselves are marked Safe and ticked for you.

Applications

Uninstall apps together with their leftover files, and see how much space each one takes up.

Duplicates

Find duplicate files across your Mac and pick which copy to keep.

Organise

Suggestions for tidying Downloads and Desktop into folders. You approve every move, and you can undo it.

Boost

See what slows your Mac: login items, background apps and heavy processes, plus routine maintenance tasks.

Protect

Checks FileVault, Firewall, Gatekeeper and more, scans apps for known malware and quarantines anything suspicious.

Health

A benchmark, network speed test, Wi-Fi channel advice, Time Machine status and how your storage changes over time.

How a clean-up works

CacheFlo never removes anything on its own. You stay in charge from the first scan to the last file.

  1. Scan

Press Smart Scan. CacheFlo reads your disk on your Mac and shows what it found, section by section.

  2. Review

Every item carries one of three labels, so you know what's safe to remove at a glance.

    SafeReviewCareful
  3. Approve

Tick what should go and confirm with Touch ID or your password. Nothing changes before that.

  4. Done

See how much space you got back. Removed items go to the Trash, so you can put them back until it is emptied. An optional audit file lists every item, saved only on your Mac.

You make the final decision on every item. Labels and suggestions are guidance only, so please review what you select and keep a current backup of your Mac. See section 6 of the terms.

What stays on your Mac, and what doesn't

A cleaner needs to see your whole disk. That's exactly why CacheFlo keeps what it sees to itself.

  • Scan results, history and storage trends

You can ask for a refund within 14 days of buying. Before buying, try CacheFlo free for 14 days. Scans, Health and Protect's security checks stay free after that. Requires a Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or later) running macOS 13 Ventura or later.

Questions

Why does CacheFlo ask for Full Disk Access?

macOS hides caches, mail downloads and other app data from apps unless you allow it. Without Full Disk Access, CacheFlo would miss much of the junk on your Mac. It uses that access only to scan, and the results never leave your Mac. You can withdraw it in System Settings at any time, and CacheFlo's Permissions screen shows what stops working if you do.

Can CacheFlo delete something important by mistake?

CacheFlo never touches system folders, your keychains or iCloud Drive, and refuses paths that point somewhere unexpected. Everything else waits for your tick and your approval with Touch ID or your password, items you should check first are labelled Review or Careful, and removed items go to the Trash first. The final check is always yours, so please review what you select and keep a backup. See section 6 of the terms.

Do I need an account?

No. You buy, receive a licence key by email and paste it into CacheFlo. There is no sign-in and no profile.

What happens when I get a new Mac?

Choose Deactivate this Mac in CacheFlo's settings on the old one, then activate your key on the new one. If the old Mac is lost or broken, contact support and we'll free the seat.

Does it work offline?

Mostly. Scans, Health and Protect's checks work fully offline. The free trial needs the internet once, on first launch. After activation, CacheFlo confirms your licence about once a week when you're online and keeps cleaning for up to 14 days between checks. If it can't check for longer, cleaning pauses until you're back online; nothing else stops.

Which Macs does it run on?

Macs with Apple silicon (M1 or later) running macOS 13 Ventura or later. Intel Macs aren't supported. See the download page for details.
